Tell the little bullied girl at school that this would be some of her future feedback and she wouldn't have believed you.

After all, she was the ugliest thing ever and good for nothing. At least that's

what her entire school class told her, as they beat her daily for many years.

This was back in Germany, where Mira was born.

Around 20 people would gang up on her, every day. Because she looked different to her non-mixed race class mates.

Despite the pain of having to endure the daily hair pulling, bruising and other assaults, there was a burning desire in Mira.

Clutching her walkman as if it were her best friend's hand, Mira's escape and sanctuary was always her garden swing. She would spend hours on it, listening to music.

Music is magic, it can change your emotional state so quickly. And Mira was keen to become a "magician".

Being surrounded by nature, staring at the beautiful landscape, daydreaming about the kind of music she would create one day - all these things have influenced Mira's ethereal style.

From zero confidence in herself to being featured in magazines such as FAE- Faeries and Enchantment.

Mira's fans often compare her voice to incredible vocalists such as Lisa Gerrard and Tarja Turunen (Nightwish) and play her albums on repeat, whenever life gets too much and they need to escape to another realm.

It was a long hard road but it lead to a beautiful clearing in the woods and the journey continues...

Best known for her ethereal compositions and otherworldly vocals on her albums "Curious Forest Spirits" and  "Realm of the Unicorns", Mira’s listeners describe her music as dreamy, enchanting and relaxing.

Mira’s vocals are also featured on "Squaring the Circle", by Peter Ulrich (ex Dead can Dance, This Mortal Coil and The Peter Ulrich Collaboration).
